With rounds 4 and 5 now complete, its time for an update! Things have been going good for Peak Honda Racing, Nicholas Lefurgey is leading the points in 5 out of his 6 classes while Oliver Gooden is leading the points in 2 out of his 4 classes. To top it off, Oliver is now the AMA Grand Champion in the F1 class! Big congrats to Oliver. Mean while, halfway through his second year road racing, Nicholas Lefurgey has been getting better and better each week and is learning a lot of valuable lessons to improve his race craft. Round 6 takes us to the stoic Virgina International Raceway in early August. Both riders having never seen the track are eager to get to VA and put down some laps. Round 3 is in the books and round 4 is fast approaching. BeaveRun was somewhat kind to us this season. Starting off on the right foot, Saturdays Solo 20 race saw team riders Nicholas Lefurgey and Oliver Gooden go 1 and 2! Sundays sprint races were riddled with red flags and accidents, luckily no one was seriously injured and the Peak Honda Racing team brought their bikes home in one piece. Peak Honda Racing is now leading in every single championship they are contesting! On to Grattan Raceway for round 4 of the WERA Sportsman Series by Pirelli. See you at the races.

The third round of the WERA Sportsman Series by Pirelli heads to the beautiful BeaveRun Motorsports Complex in Wampum PA this weekend June 19th and 20th. Looking to rebound from his crash at Grattan two weeks ago, Nicholas Lefurgey is ready to get back on his bike and the podium. Oliver Gooden is also excited to try the new settings worked out at last weeks team test. Stay tuned for live updates from the track and a full race report!

Round 2 of the WERA Sportsman Series by Prielli happens this weekend May 15th and 16th at the scenic Grattan Raceway in Beliding Michigan. Riders Nicholas Lefurgey and Oliver Gooden are both looking to build on the success they had at Nelson Ledges just over a week ago. Being at their home track, this should prove to be a good opportunity to score a few wins and move into the points lead in several classes. For more details visit www.wera.com

Round 1 of the WERA Sportsman Series by Prielli at Nelson Ledges is officially in the books. We had a successful first round collecting one 1st, one 2nd, seven 3rd's, two 4th's and one 5th on the weekend. Both riders Oliver Gooden and Nicholas Lefurgey were able to best their previous fast laps at the track despite damp conditions with threatening rain clouds all weekend. Looking ahead two weeks, the series moves on to Grattan Raceway in Grattan Michigan for round 2 May 15th and 16th. Round 1 of the WERA Pirelli Sportsman Series is set to kick of May 1st and 2nd at Nelson Ledges Road Course in Garrettsville OH. Welcome to 2010! With the first official race of the season fast approaching, its time for some updates. The off-season has been kind to us at Peak Honda Racing. We've added Oliver Gooden to the team roster, a very exciting rider who brings a new level of experience, dedication and professionalism to the team. Oliver, along with Nicholas Lefurgey will be contesting the 600cc, 750cc and 1000cc Superbike and Superstock championships with WERA for 2010. We've also been busy getting our practice and race schedules finalized, race bikes prepped, and sponsors lined up to make this our best year to date. Of course, helping it to be the best are companies like Scorpion USA, who have signed up for 2010 with full support, as well as Pirelli and Uber Racing, who bring to the table more tire data than we can shake a stick at. We also can't forget Peak Powersports for building us some of the best performing bikes in the paddock and C&S Power-coating for making sure they are also the best looking.
